Self-tapping thread inserts have two common installation forms according to the quantity:
1. When the number of self-tapping thread insert is small, you can choose a simple installation method, which is to choose the anchor screw nuts that meet the specifications and models, fix the self-tapping thread insert on the nuts that meet the specifications, and use the same screw Fix the cap so that the three become a whole, and then use a wrench to screw the screw sleeve into the bottom hole and exit the screw.
2. When installing a large number of self-tapping thread inserts, special self-tapping thread insert installation tools can be used. The end of the self-tapping thread insert installation tool is a hexagonal head, which can be connected with a manual tapping wrench and an electric or pneumatic tool. For different production and processing materials, refer to the drilling specifications and models for pre-drilling. When the material strength is high, slightly increase the bottom hole in the drilling range.
When installing the self-tapping thread insert, the grooved end is downward, the screw insert is completely installed in front of the tool, and must touch the workpiece vertically. Please make sure to point to the bottom hole when putting it in, and never tilt it. When you find it tilted, please don't rotate the tool and readjust it for use. When entering 1/3~1/2, the head cannot be restarted. Do not reverse the rotation of the tool or it will cause problems.
